This is an amazing deal because I just need it gone.

This is a production built Uniflite 27, constructed of a single skin FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) with deck and superstructure of FRP and balsa core. It has a modified Vee bottom, and a single hard chine. The boat is a civilian model of the legendary Vietnam river gunboats, built by Uniflite to support the American war effort in South-East Asia in the 60’s.

The vessel is currently in process of continuous upgrading by the current owner,with new aluminum windows with anodized aluminum frames and upgraded cabin sole and bulkhead linings.

The accommodations provide a double V-berth forward, followed aft by the salon area. The salon has a U-shaped settee with a pedestal table on the port side, and a galley on the starboard side, with countertop, sink and LPG stove. The dining area can be converted into a double berth.

On the port side, aft, the enclosed head compartment is located, complete with sink and vanity cabinet, a newly installed marine head with macerator pump, and a shower.

Up to steps from the main salon, a central opening in the bulkhead leads out to the fully enclosed cockpit. The helm station is located on the port side, with engine controls, steering and instrumentation, as well as a swivel captain’s seat. A matching, co-pilot seat is located on the starboard side.

The spacious cockpit provides access over the transom to the built-in swim grid, currently used as storage for the tender. A Dickinson LPG barbecue is installed centrally on the transom.

The engine compartment is accessed through a large hatch in the salon sole. The forward bulkhead has the fuel line manifolds, and the batteries are distributed on both the port and starboard side of the engines.

The propulsion power is provided by a 250 HP GM 350 Vee Eight engine, via Hurth reduction gear and stainless steel 1 ½ ” shaft, to a three blade propeller, able to propel the vessel to speeds up to 24 mph, comfortably cruising at 21 mph.
